Another one important i think, is that to have the possibility to choose the dimension of each thumbnail for the uploaded image: in administration, so, will be possible fort each image to upload creating a thumbnail of desired dimension that can be different each time, as a thumbnail all over the blog can be used in various ways, this option about thumbnail dimension can return very useful for many users.
Of course, if values aren’t set while uploading, than the default of main setting will be used.

These two are features added/improved for the images gallery 1.0.8 if no more suggestions or helps are coming out on the way before release.

1. Added a good captcha code in place of older and very simple one, to avoid unwanted automated images uploads.
2. Some important improvement for all returned warning messages on images upload (if upload fail or is ok, and so on).

A better verification to check that who’s uploading images to your blog is a human and not automated software.
The new captcha check is just online here at http://www.axew3.com/b10g/wp-w3images.php when you try to submit images;
it need only to be adjusted a little beat more for the 1.0.7 release.
Some code change added for a better and more precise gallery output.

After, unfortunately i have not find out more times to look and code around the phpBB bulletin board except for a modification bridge of phpBB with WordPress.
I like to add to this blog a little forum now, and of course it will be phpBB with an integration/bridge i will code directly here in these days.

Better menu items list thank to the new w3_SectionsSubNames($arg) function that list for each parent all related subsections.

Sono passati quindici anni fra la stesura dei primi appunti e la stampa. La De Monticelli racconta la genesi di questo
suo ultimo lavoro collocandolo come secondo atto di una “trilogia della persona” in cui si riflette il’senso più profondo e innovativo della sua ricerca: è la libertà, qui, il centro di tutto, ciò che fa dell’uomo quello che è, l’esperienza “costitutiva” della vita e dell’identità personale e morale di ciascuno. Una libertà
che è si “questione metafisica”, ma insieme concretissima. La De Monticelli articola le pagine come la costruzione
di un castello, pietra su pietra, domanda dopo domanda: “Sono io che prendo le decisioni chiamate mie? Lo vorrei certamente: ma lo sono davvero o no? E cosa sono io? Ho veramente sul mondo e su me stesso un’efficacia, un potere causale o me lo immagino soltanto”.
E a furia di interrogarsi e di rispondersi, con l’autrice che incalza direttamente il lettore chiamandolo a riflettere su ciò
che sta dietro ogni scelta, dalla più pesante alla più banale, l’impressione, chiuso il libro, è di riemergere da una seduta di autocoscienza.
La filosofia abbandona l’astrattezza ed entra nella vita. Sentimenti, affetti, carne, sensi: quando l’autrice
parla dell’uomo è a questo che si riferisce, al “pacchetto completo” di ciò che siamo. L’esercizio del volere,
scrive la De Monticelli, ha un suo percorso di maturazione. Ed essere consapevoli che esiste un “apprendistato umano della libertà” un forte richiamo alla responsabilità
morale e insieme un antidoto contro ogni deriva autoritaria.
L’attualità non entra nel libro; ma sembra bussare in molte pagine. La vicenda di Eluana Englaro, a cui è stata
sospesa l’alimentazione dopo diciassette anni passati in stato vegetativo, per esempio:
“Assistere con orrore all’agonia forzosamente e indefinitivamente prolungata” – scrive la De Monticelli – “un’esperienza che speravamo di non dover più fare”.
E cita il sofisma di Isaiah Berlin: “Se io, rappresentante dell’autorità pubblica, costringo
te, individuo soggetto a questa autorià, a fare altro da quello che vorresti, è perchè io rappresento il tuo io più vero e la parte migliore di te, quella che sola sarebbe in grado di renderti padrone di te stesso, cioè libero: tu sei, in effetti, padrone di te stesso o libero solo in quanto sei soggetto a questa miglior volontà, che sola sa come l’uomo si realizza pienamente”. “Questo, non possiamo che convenirne con Berlin” – conclude la studiosa – “sarebbe un sofisma dagli effetti ben temibili”.

Libertà e “novità”, dunque. La sua teoria dell’identità personale fa perno, proprio sul concetto di libertà, da brandire in un immaginario tribunale come
prova del fatto che non ci esauriamo nè nella nostra identità biologica nè in quella biopsicologica o sociale, ma siamo ciò che ne facciamo di tutte queste identità:
“Siamo macchine per trasformare la contingenza in natura individuale o personalità: e mi sembra questo ciò che ci distingue dalle altre macchine viventi”.
