i am over to write the new AUDIO and VIDEO phpBB4 extension! Working also on phpBB 3 with few lines of code changes, the php code that manage the db data insertion that differ from 3 to 4.
The recorder code switch from mp3 to webm format audio and video.
It will be possible to record a video or an audio of given dimension, that can be any dimension or the
attach ACP setting max dimension in byte or whatever you'll want, maybe based on groups (maybe it will be a next feature we'll add to it, easy to do but maybe not included on this release).
The player will instead reproduce sequentially any webm audio or video, mp3 or whatever. It is intended that so an audio topic discussion can be listened like a whatsapp or telegram or any other app discussion.
