"Saranno sempre le nostre azioni a dire chi siamo, non le parole. Le azioni dicono chi sei, le parole chi credi di essere".
"Our actions will always show who we are, not our words. Actions reveal who you are; words only reveal who you think you are".
Benny is a piece of graffiti on a wall, a story I read while passing through an uncrowded street where few people venture. It said:
"Benny is a girl I love, but she is not my partner. I love my partner too, but what can I do, it is a different kind of love. No sex, but I look after Benny because she is left all alone. She is alone in her world made of so many psychiatric drugs prescribed by criminal doctors, and she didn't have the strength to react, maybe because her past was too heavy to accept, and, unfortunately, a variety of other pathologies. So I find myself going around hospitals while her parents are away, her daughter ignores her—she doesn't exist to her—and her sister... perhaps having seen what I have done for Benny during this time, at least the sister tries to help a bit? I do not know. But actually, she do not really exist. Aapart from me and a friend of mine who joined in after seeing the pity of the situation, Benny sees no one. All of this has required a significant amount of effort in any sense from me, and i am very tired. I should not say this.
It has been a long time since I last saw a smile on her face, and nothing is left of the person she was up until four years ago. During the nights when I couldn't be close to her, I drowned my mind in senseless cryptography problems, because the difficulty of thinking about it made this situation and the world around fade away for a few seconds."
