phpBB database connection error

Hey guys,

i just can't manage to connect my wordpress with my forum.

I already get the following error message during setup:

WARNING
phpBB database connection error.
Integration runs as USERS NOT LINKED until this message is displayed.
Check the phpBB database connection values on the admin page of the integration plugin and NOT in wp-config.php (as suggested in the warning message below).

Do I understand correctly that I need to enter the forum data here?
I would have done this, debug in WordPress is also deactivated but the error message still appears.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Hello! Yes the error mean that data you are entering aren't correct!

first of all thanks for your reply.

The datas i have entered from the forum-database should be correct.

If i entered the datas from wordpress-database, the error message is gone.

Could it be possible that there is another error?

Is it possible that you can take also a look over it?
