WordPress phpBB Latest phpBB Topics shortcode how to<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To add a WP_w3all shortcode<\/strong>, and display a list of Latest updated phpBB Topics into a WordPress post\/page<\/strong>, the WordPress shortcode to use is like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[w3allastopics topics_number=\"5\"]<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
change<\/strong> the topics_number<\/em> value 5<\/strong> with the number of Last phpBB topics\/posts you need to retrieve and display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To display with post text, use the shortcode in this way:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
[w3allastopics topics_number=\"5\" post_text=\"1\" text_words=\"30\"]<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
change<\/strong> the text_words<\/em> value 30<\/strong> based on how many words you want to display for listed posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This feature use the same avatar’s settings choose in WP_w3all config page<\/em>. Since 2.5.5> you can suppress\/remove avatars on each shortcode using this param:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> in case you want to add custom style the output of Last Topics\/post shortcode, the file used by the Last Topics\/post shortcode<\/em> you need to look for, may to add custom modifications is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that is not the same used to output phpBB Last Topics on widgets,<\/em> which is instead the file phpbb_last_topics.php  (<\/strong><\/em>as you’ll see on same folder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> that same activated options (like the “Exclude phpBB forums from listing on Last Topics Posts<\/strong><\/em>“) in plugin admin, affect this shortcode.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Wp_w3all 1.9.7 ><\/strong> it is possible to use 3 attributes more on this shortcode which are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
w3_ul_class, w3_li_class, w3_inline_style<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
NOTE:<\/strong> if w3_ul_class<\/strong><\/em> attribute used, then all these three attributes are processed to be used on the shortcode output. <\/strong>If not present this attribute, the old shortcode way apply.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
w3_ul_class=”myClassXUL”<\/em> will assign myClassXUL<\/em> class to the UL element wrapper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

w3_li_class=”myClassXLI”<\/em> will assign myClassXLI<\/em> class to LI elements inside the UL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
w3_inline_style=”list-style=none;”<\/em> will output the inline style style=” 
list-style=none;”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
if going to use w3_inline_style<\/em> note that special characters inside this attribute, may require to be escaped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
